Auchterless serves an area of rural Aberdeenshire well known for its farming background and is situated in the southern part of the Turriff Community School Network.
The school is non-denominational and the catchment area is the village of Auchterless and the surrounding rural area. The catchment area stretches from Turriff in the north to Rothienorman in the south and from Fyvie in the east to Fortrie in the west.
As a school, we strive to make learning interesting, relevant and varied so that our children have the opportunity to maximise their progress and build strong skills they can take with them as the move on to secondary education and beyond.
Auchterless School provides education for children aged 5 to 12. There are 3 multi-composite classes.
As a school community, we agreed our new logo, moto and values. "Gie yer best" means "Give your best" in our local dialect, Doric.
